What a super Café Concert we had! There were 37 members there and 9 visitors, so it was our most popular event by some way. Many thanks to everyone who participated and to our enthusiastic and appreciative audience.
Our next session on 12 March will be our annual book discussion. Do get hold of Le vieux qui déjeunait seul by Léa Wiazemsky if you would like to take part; it really helps to have at least started reading the book if you are to enjoy the evening! You can easily find it secondhand on the internet but let me know if you’re having trouble getting a copy. I have prepared questions to help you with your reading of the book; if you would like them, email me and I will send them to you as an attachment.
